Sometimes because of pride or ego or a mistaken idea, one person may not confide in another or tell them the whole truth. Have you ever been in a situation in which you didn’t want the other person to know something about you? You had something you wanted to keep secret? How did you act? Did the other person realize you were hiding something? How did your behavior change the way they acted toward you?

I can almost promise i have done this many, many times, but i cannot think of any of them right now. So i am just going to talk about what could happen. You could finally tell the person after a couple of years and find out it wasn't a big deal and you should have told them much much earlier. You could tell them right when it happens and then they feel betrayed by you.

There is always the chance of them not even noticing and you choose not to tell them...... well not yet at least. You always wonder what should i do, what should i do. Then you might get a "bright" idea and decide that you will do that and then come to find out in a day to a week you should have told them, and they are even angrier at you then before because they just feel like you should have told them.

Top Ten Books

I have read Hunger games and really like it! It was so good i would recommend it to anybody. It was probably one of the best books i have ever read. I got recommended it by one of my cousins. I read the little synopsis about it and thought it was just okay not really worth my time, i couldn't have been more wrong.

It is a story about loyalty to your town and people, fighting and gruesome deaths, going and doing something you don't want to do. Almost anybody could pick this book up and like it...... but i don't think they will be able to put it back down.

It seems like reading Edgar Allan Poe stories around Halloween is a rite of passage for students in English classes. He wrote poems such as "The Raven" and "Annabel Lee" and stories like "The Tell-Tale Heart", "The Black Cat", "The Fall of the House of Usher", "The Cask of Amontillado", "The Masque of the Red Death", "The Pit and the Pendulum", etc.
If you have read Poe stories before, which ones have you read and what do you remember of them? Did you like them? How scary/creepy were they? Share your memories of you or teachers reading the works of Edgar Allan Poe.
If you have not read Poe or don't remember, describe to me what you expect from a classic horror writer? What kinds of stories do you think we'll be reading? Have you ever read scary stories?

Um... i am expecting a nothing head ache like Shakespeare brought. Some more sleepless nights trying to catch up with the rest of the class. Then thinking about what might be under your bead or in your closet.

Having ALL the lights on while you do it so you don't get to scared. Maybe some stories about witches or people disappearing. Creepy little goblins roaming around making a ruckus. People waking up to ghosts in there room telling them to leave and never ever come back.

Wanting to know if it is all real or if he just made it all up in his creepy but genius imagination. Waking up screaming at the top of your lungs because you had a bad dream. Not wanting to go back to bed because of it.

"How do you keep making the lights go on and off?" your pet might wonder.Write about you doing something in your house...from a pet's point of view.

All they do is sleep! I mean i wake up at night and what are they doing?! What else? Sleeping! And when i try to wake them up to say i need to go to the bathroom. They just yell at me and tell me bad dog bad! I mean if you really want me to pee in your room then i will but only if you want me to.

I hate it! They finally take me out to the dog park so that i can meet some chick and all they want me to do is run after that stupid stick of there's! I try to tell them every time before they throw it, not to throw it! But what do you think they do, of course throw it and i HAVE to go get it for them because they are to lazy to get it themselves.
Have you ever studied a skunk's eyes? Write about some item you find beauty in that many others might not.

I would have to say reading a very interesting book. There is almost nothing better then that. Especially when it is raining outside, windy so that you can hear the rain when you are inside. Snuggle under a good warm blanket and you could be there for hours.

Most people don't really like to read, or at least to admit that they like to read. But also if it is a stupid book then you don't want to read no matter what the circumstances are. There are a lot of good books out there and there are also a lot of stupid books.

Have you ever known a secret that you thought you should tell? Did you tell? If you've never experienced this, what do you think it would be like to know a secret that you think is dangerous?

Um....... i can't really think of one right now, but i am sure that i have had one or more of those experiences. I think depending what the secret is it could really be anything. It could be thrilling because you are excited for what is going to happen.

It could be scary because you did something wrong and you don't want anybody to find out what it is, or what you did/didn't do. It could be a dangerous situation and you should definitely tell someone, and get help. like if you over hear someone plotting something bad then you should tell someone who could help.

But you never want to tell someone the secret if telling it could put you in danger, so you should tell someone but make sure that the person is either okay with you telling someone, or that they don't know that you are the one who told (but not like behind there back, only if it would help you and other people).

Write a journal from the perspective of Romeo, Juliet, Friar Laurence or Nurse. It should take place after the end of Act II when Romeo and Juliet have been secretly married. Remember, you ARE this person writing what they would be thinking and feeling at this time. 3 PARAGRAPHS!
Friar Laurence: Romeo and Juliet are married and it seems like they are happy. It was a very nice ceremony and they are a lovely couple. I wish them a long life together. I hope that there family's wont be to mad. I hope (but know it won't happen) that it will end the two family's quarrel.

Juliet had a very lovely dress, made by nurse and it just made her look marvelous. Romeo was wearing nothing to brag about, i think that he was just so excited that he didn't really care what he was wearing.

They wish that they could spend more time together but it is very difficult with there family's hating each other and all. I don't know how Romeo will tell his parents, they will feel so betrayed. Juliet is going to have a hard time too. I wish them both the best of luck and a long life together.

Do you believe in Fate? Are there certain things in life that, once set in motion, are inevitable; things that cannot be stopped once they are started? The story of Romeo and Juliet implies that the path of their love and what happens to them is part of Fate's plan. Do you think this is possible?

Um........ well i think that some things are meant to be, like someone out there that is just (or in some way) like you. That you shouldn't be alone in your life, not that you don't want to be alone, because i guess some people do want to be alone for the rest of there life's, but i believe that there is someone out there for everyone.

I think that if you set yourself up for something to happen it could be "fate". But not everything is up to "fate". You could really not want something to happen that is supposed to be "fate" but you stop it from happening.

You could always change things from happening if you don't want it to happen. Just becuase it is "fate" doesn't mean that you will set it in motion, or atleast anytime soon. You live your life the way you want to live it.

Benvolio: I have been trying to get Romeo to see that Rosaline is not the only girl out there. He i haveing a very hard time relizing this and he is starting to dissapoint me. I don't know what i am going to do next.

I have thought of a plan to get Romeo to see that there are other girls. There is a girl from the Capulet family. Her name is Juliet and she is a very beautiful girl who i think that he will like. The problem is that the Capulets are fighting his family the Montegue's.

I am taking Romeo to a party tonight in the honor of the Capulet family. I am going to help him see all of the many girls he could have a chance with and help him get over Rosaline. I am hoping that this will work but he is very stuborn.

9th grade:

Define true love. Do you believe it exists?

(Hint: have you ever seen it? give an example. Why do you believe/not believe in it?)
9th grade:

Define true love. Do you believe it exists?
Um..... True love..... i guess i believe in it. It is when you would do anything for someone. You would die so that they could live. I guess i could say that i have seen it with my parents..... Well my mom and my step dad. It is kind of the like the saying about something about something being skin deep.

It is when you see a very beautiful person and it doesn't matter because you already have this other "person" and that person doesn't change anything. You always feel good around them and no matter what you do you have fun with them. You could be sitting around and doing nothing but still have fun.

You feel safe around them. You don't fight you just "argue" or "state your opinion". You feel as though you will love them forever and that will never change. You respect them. The only reason you are with them is not becuase they are the "hottest" cheerleader or the "hottest" football player.
(Hint: have you ever seen it? give an example. Why do you believe/not believe in it?)

Super Power

If you had one superpower, what would it be and why? (Hint: describe exactly what your power would be, why you would want that one, what you would use your power for, etc. Would you be good or evil? Would you use it just for fun or for a good cause?)

I would want either super speed, or to teleport. I would probably use it for some good and some bad. I mean if i lost all of my money and i could even afford to feed my self i could run in and out of some "Wal-mart" or something without even being seen. Or i could use my teleporting ability's to go in and out without even being seen.

I could pop up in some bank robery and start taking hostages out of the building. I could run in there and take them all out if i had super speed. But I think that i would mostly want to teleport. I mean if a "Villian" through me of a cliff I could teleport right back up unscathed.

I could teleport myself into a bank safe and be one of the richest people in the world, or i could teleport myself in Bill Gates house and take some of his money. I could be anywhere at anytime. i would never have to get up early to be somewhere because i could be there in less then a second. Now that i think about it i wouldn't even need to use money i could take anything from anywhere at anytime and nobody could catch me.

What comes to your mind when you hear the words, "Now we're going to read Shakespeare!" Do you cringe in fear? Do you giggle with glee? What past experiences have you had with Shakespeare to make you react the way you do?:

It makes me think of a picture of Shakespeare with bird and stars floating around his head. It makes my head hurt without even starting to read... anything! It makes me tired and want to sleep. It makes me think of long nights and not getting any sleep to try to keep up with the class and try to understand.

It makes me want to run away. To try everything to not have to read it. It makes me think of everything from love stories, to people killing each other just because they are mad at them. It makes me think of strange people, using strange words just to describe the simplest of things.

Never thinking that the book will end, or the day, and even English class. It makes me dread reading. Thinking of gripping battle, all the way to boring romance with two young lovers. Never knowing what is truly going on, and what is going to happen, or I can even say to know what has happened.

B2 English Assingment

hi, welcome to my blog.
